Blog Continuation

11 months. Yikes.

Turns out I am terrible at staying consistent with the topic of being creative. Why? My life is chaos, as I’m sure it is for a LOT of us. And for me, being someone who strives for comfort and, in fact, tends to Sparta-kick things that threaten my peace, I had to consider what I can adapt that’s already a source of tranquility in my life.

As cliché as it is, cooking happens to be one of them. However, as my husband says, I watched too much Ron Popeil when I was a kid. I am the biggest fan of set-it-and-forget-it recipes. There’s a reason for that. Well, there are probably half a dozen reasons for that, but being lazy is probably the best one.

So I will continue to blog, and I will probably continue to be inconsistent. I would even say that’s a 95% certainty. We’ll see how this goes. I am still working on my book, and I am still working through Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros (listen, I know I’m way behind). Sadly, in relation to Sorrengail, there are days my joints hurt, I go a little too bendy, and I just can’t do it. Hopefully, those are the days I take my creativity out on a recipe that will be easy to leave be and will taste pretty awesome.

Let’s be honest though.. if I think it tastes like ass, I won’t be posting it.

Here’s my invitation to pull up a pillow, a couch, a bed, or even a hammock (I don’t know, whatever gets you cozy) and get ready to try a recipe that you can read to and enjoy some quality self-care. I hope you find something tasty in my Cozy Cooking series. I have no idea how many recipes there will be, so that’s gonna be fun.
